(010) 64073800 This Anti-Domestic Violence Hotline serves individuals in need for psychological counseling at regular hours 13:00—16:00, every week from Monday to Friday.

　　Opened on last March 8th, the hotline has received some 230 calls by the end of July 2004, and among the callers 210 are women. This demonstrates that, in all, women suffer the most in domestic violence. Some live even in dangerous surroundings. Most callers are from cities, with Beijing the most. The education level of them arranged from primary school to post graduates and age group distributed mostly among 21 years of age to 60.

　　With this one more line added to the previous four lines, including two women’s hotlines, two lines for aged women, experts’ line for women and automated legal counseling line, the Maple Women’s Psychological Counseling Center offers more help to women in need. Woman is part of the society and, as we always say, holds half of the sky. Only when women’s living environment has been improved, can human enjoy sound surroundings.
